i bought some crappy ph tester from lowes and i dont think it works. can anyone recommend a good water and soil ph testers? Im willing to spend up to around $60. if i need to.

they make digital ph wands some do get expensive but if u want quality check em out

i have a £5 job off ebay, 2 pronged moist, ph, light meter, it works pretty damned well

api water ph kit, 4 bucks test ur water before u add nutes and adjust from there use dolimite lime in ur soil for stability

go the Hanna ph digital route on ebay. About $30 on ebay. Get the solution, storage and stuff to test the meter 7.01 ph. One of the best purchases you can buy for this hobby. Keep it moist at all times. Next thing make sure your using FF Ocean Forest soil and lime. One try and your plant results you won't go back to anything else...It's balanced at perfect ph./soil and stuff -read about it- made for this plant...Then your ph. issues will go away and many plant issues including knats etc.
