Sorry for posting this twice, I just want to get as much feedback as possible. Is this true? Can this 15 watt really rival that of a 200w MH?
Amazon.com > GrowSpot TM - The energy squeezing GrowSpotTM showers your plants with the perfect blend of light needed for fast, vigorous growth. The GrowSpotTM fits into any standard light socket making it the most versatile LED grow light on the market today. Consuming only 15 watts, the GrowSpotTM led grow light rivals the output of a 200 watt Metal Halide / HPS grow light. Use a GrowSpotTM for seedling propagation or to provide light wherever plants need it most. Suitable for all stages of growth, the GrowSpotTM covers 5 square feet and emits virtually no heat. The GrowSpot can be used as a primary or supplemental plant light. No setup required. Glow Your Own®. 15 watts / 110v

So, the claim is you'll get the same results in a an area a little larger than 2 ft. X 2 ft. It's doubtful, mainly because of poor light penatration. The tops of the plants will be fine- beyond that you'll get poor bud development. Maybe 1 plant, close up to the top, will be fine but not worth the money. LED technology is still behind........ and trying to catch up.

So, if anything sounds too good to be true...it probably is.

And Sunshine is a bit sketchy anyways, in my opinion, so I wouldn't take anything they say as being reliable.

You sound like you already know better, so go with what what's already worked for you. These big promises tend to be just a waste of your money. I mean, if you can get your money back if things don't work, then I say go for it, but it never seems to be that easy.

(And personally, I would never buy anything for growing on Amazon. Too easy to track you....)

thanks guys. i guess i'll just stick to my cfls and fluoros for veg. I'm NEVER going to use anything but HPS for flower (other than cfl side lighting). It seems like this bulb would only be good for side lighting on a single or MAYBE 2 plants in my wardrobe grow box. But I dont see the price being worth it. Thanks again
