first.....this is "toke and talk" ....i see many many threads that have ZERO to do with marijuana.
Second, there is a damn good chance (I'm willing to BET with my addicted gambling ass) That I've made more money playing online poker in the past 2 years, then you have doing whatever it is you do in the past 10 years.

yes for NON US players, its been that way for awhile, I started playing on party way way back in the day, the DOJ made them take their business outside the USA in 06. Also made them pay a 300 million dollar fine. (ouch)
Absolute, Fulltilt, Pokerstars have all been shut down for US players. I was just recently able to cash out my bankroll from the sites.

I hear cake and a couple other sites are open, but until its regulated I don't want to stick anymore $ online. The rumor mill says the WYNN casino and pokerstars has some deal they are trying to make for a US player only regulated room.

Used to play online quite a bit, lost interest and didn't play for a couple of years, was about to start playing again to try making some pocket money but then it all got busted. Damn. Am interested in Gadaffiduck's question though, can players outside of the States still play for real money or did we ruin other people's fun too?

if you dont live in the usa...your good to go. You can play freely as you wish.
I've read multiple posts by nose bleed players on 2+2, who are seriously considering moving out of the USA to continue playing (if I was them, I would too)
now, if you lived in the USA and your account is registered to a USA address, but you intend on moving over seas, these sites need FULL proof that your over seas.
If your in the usa, you ip is instantly pick up and you are blocked from REAL money play. You can play for play money as much as you'd like though.
