I made Cupcakes! This is my first time eating! Question about eating?

Ok I made some Bud Coconut oil. What I did was 3g (Northern Lights) to 1/2 cup of coconut oil and a cooked it in a mini crock pot for 6 hours. I did not strain it. The Cupcake recipe called for 1/4 oil.

What do you think?

How long does the effects like and how long do they last?
 
It will come on immediately and you will feel nothing. This will last for about 4 hours.

You made 3 greasy cupcakes with those three grams right?

You don't need to cook it in a crock pot for 6 hours. That step would have killed it. The act of cooking cupcakes, brownies etc. is enough to activate bud.
Just mix bud in with whatever you're baking and bake it, then it will bake you.

I've OD'd on weed before, it was not fun. You ain't gonna have that problem with these cupcakes though.

What do you mean it would have killed it?

I read a recipe that suggested what I did. It said 4 to 6 hours.
 
i would guess each cupcake would contain about 30miligrams of canabinoids and a good single dose requires 60 mg in my opinion so i would eat 2 and wait an hour.

you must like gritty weed tasting edibles which is fine but the info u so wrongly put out couldn't be more inaccurate. he did nothing wrong in making the oil.
 
I had one last night. It was a nice mild high, it made me sleepy. I did not want anything too strong since it was my first time eating marijuana.

truth be told that is the only way to see if they work on you.. most edibles start at .25g per edible some can use less some need a bunch more..
 
mine was a guess based on the lab testing done on our products. our half gram dose contains approximately 60 mg of cannabinoids. from there its basic math.
 
and ours are made with top shelf strains but its sugar leaf and popcorn not fat nugs. imo top shelf popcorn and trim is in same class as many mid grade strains as far a cannabinoids go. obviously sum compounds will differ strain to strain so this is just based on 3 years of daily edible baking and consuming experience.
 
Thanks! I will use some trim next time. This one I mad was from the bottom of the bag bud.

So is that about average 60mg for a half gram of good bud?
 
I might be an over-killer, but when I make brownies or cookies (and I do so weekly, SR is the bomb baby!), I measure out the number of grams of magic per number of finished items. So if I know that my usual cookie recipe nets me 24 cookies (actually it'd be more like 28 but I "have" to test the taste while I cook) then I make the oil or butter for that recipe using 1g/edible as my final goal. So if my brownie recipe calls for 1/4 cup of oil and it makes 18 brownies, I infuse the 1/4c oil with 18g of the good stuff, then each brownie contains a 1g equivalent. That's a fairly large doobie for reference.

That way it's easy to know how much "magic" each cookie/brownie has and how much that's worth knowing the cost of ALL ingredients. Please feel free to PM me with any questions I might be able to answer for you.
