I made a mistake...

So this is my first grow. I had 7 plants growing great for the past 3 weeks. Then me and my buddy decided to try and Top them. We succeeded with a few of em, but on the other ones we accidentally cut the new growth all the way to the stem. A few days later one of the plants actually died and shriveled up. The rest of em look ok, they have stopped growing all together tho.
What do you guys think happened to the one that died? Also why do you all think the other ones started any new growth at the spot where we topped them?

I'd appreciate any response i could get.

Dont have a camera to take any pics.. Sorry.

use your phone and send it to your email and download on computer and do it that way if you want. if you dont got a camera you need to get one.. almost everyone either has a camera or a phone with a camera thats able to do the same thing.

i know after i top it looks like my plants stop growing for a few days..but then they explode.

i topped my plant after a couple of weeks... it looked like it stopped growing for a few days .....

3 weeks this sunday coming up.. since i topped

i cant remember how long i had the clone for before i topped it.. maybe 2 weeks no more. now the plant is touching the screen (10in) i really had no idea how this was gonna turn out :???:

so i basically gotta remove my screen

got em on the 9th of jan. so its been almost 1 month.

That might explain it. It got really hot in the room for afew hours. but now the temp is fine.
