hmm.. i am beginning to understand - some people think that prohibition has prevented certain individuals from smoking pot at all - therefore, if we legalize, suddenly we have more people smoking and therefore, more people driving stoned... the fact remains that the law does nothing but generate an attitude of disrespect toward the police and the government.. throw someone in jail to
stop them from smoking pot?? hasn't anyone seen the Trailer Park Boys?
also.. on an old point - i think the fact that authority tells our kids specifically not to do it and that it is illegal - creates a feeling that it is something that people
really want to do and that it should be done privately, secretly, the kind of silly drama that kids crave.. i think the same thing happens with other substances - if people didn't make such a big deal out of it there would be less allure.. right?
now kids, mm kay, never press the big red clown shaped button on your chairs, mm kay.. i won't know who pressed it, mm kay, but pressing the colorful clown button that a lot of the older kids press all the time, is
bad, mm kay?
