I know I'm an idiot, but how much of an idiot is the question

The basics:
  • Indoor
  • Grow tent
  • 100w LED lighting arrays over each plant
  • Mycorrhiza soil
  • Watering schedule: every 4 days
  • Nutrients: Jacks 20-20-20 reduced to 1/4 strength (one feeding)
  • Humidity meter and thermometer inside tent
  • Sub-optimal ventilation
  • 5th to 6th week of veg
Up until 4 days ago, my plants were doing adequately well. I noticed evidence of thrips on several leaves (silvery dots) and an examination with a jeweler's loupe showed miniscule yellow bugs crawling near the silvery dots. I sprayed all of the plants with Dr. Zymes, and now, 4 days later, am presented with this. The surface roots are white and the stalks of the plants are firm and not "mushy." I don't think I should be digging into the soil to take a look at the deeper roots to see if they're rotting.

My current plan is to dry the soil out to where the pots are light enough to lift. I have Actinovate SP on order if it turns out to be root rot. Should I clip off the dying leaves?

Thanks!

Did you follow the dilution rates for the Dr Zymes and did you spray with lights off?

The grow lights were off while I was spraying because of electrical safety, but I turned them on after I was finished. The Dr Zymes was, I assume, pre-diluted by the previous owner of the bottle.

It doesn't appear so
And if you don't have a fan directly on them , turning on lights was the culprit

i "had to" use forbid once
i made a mistake with the dose (x2 :/)
No light before leaves were dry
but they turned like yours days after and some died
The bottle from an other guy ...how old was the mix...
Light on just after omg
The pb is what u did with the spray no doubt

edit : broad mites finally died too lol

I know some don’t like this method because it “could” kill the microbiology you have in your soil but when I have issues after experimenting and they look abused I give a 1/3 cup of h220 to each gallon and it speeds your recovery time up.
