I keep getting this (algae) in my reservoir

So today I dissloved that stuff in the water by mixing. Then I topped up and amended the water. A couple hours later, it was not back at the bottom but stayed dissolved in the water. I'll continue to keep an eye on this.... but I'm leaning towards beleiving it was salts that had fallen out since it has not reappeared in the bottom, even after a few hrs.
