I Just Squeezed A Calyx.

It's true, my very first squeeze of a seedless calyx, it was almost horrific, actually it was more like squeezing a pimple, and a little puss came out. So if this stuff is not tricombs, I believe they call it resin. Do you know of this white gold? Why is this would-be seed juice be so under-rated?

ps. I have yet to see a tricomb, but then again I don't got a microscope. :)

The 'White Gold' is actually thc resin. Also, i just read trichomes do not always carry the thc content, some can have tons of trics but low thc, others are the opposite, not much trics but tons of thc. Take about major misdirection, most people believe you gotta have the trics, not true. The 'White Gold' is really what were after, covered in trichomes, but all this and if you got a shit strain, you smokin mids.

not really. it just says the thc and cannaboid content in the resin in the resin glands(trichomes) is stronger in some plants than others and more glands dont mean more potent plants for sure. nothing new.

Well at least I got your attension. dark, you say that so casually, nothing new, more people would be interested for sure. I bet 90% of the people growing think the trichomes are king, no matter what.

The trichomes still hold the psychoactive material, we knew it was the combination of cannabinoids in the trichomes that governs the high, not the amount of trichs.

^^we knew it was the combination of cannabinoids...who's 'we'? I've been reading for a year and not once did i see 'anything' on calyxes until i seen them grow. To me now, if you got lots of trics, it doesn't mean a thing. If you got swollen calyxes then you know 'for sure' you got some dank comin.

swollen caylxs dont indicate potency either? darkdestruction, you gotta stop doin this. All of a sudden there's nothing, including the seed, that will give a guy an idea of potentcy. That doesn't leave much.

^^that pic is of a seed pod, it's starting to pop. A swollen calyx is smaller, and they don't pop, unless you squeeze em.

u can have some shitty mid shwiggity shwag in your bag full of swollen calyxes but it doesn't indicate potency, rather maturity. Its the site of reproduction, pistil comes out, finds pollen(or not), then curls up returning to calyx with the pollen. I would venture to say that generally speaking a calyx that has been pollinated will produce less desired effects.

One other thing, seems i can see, i think you call-em foxtails. Looking closely at a bud and it looks like a calyx to me. Except it's popin a shoot, it's white and green and looks like the start of a flower? That would mean hermi, appears to be only on the top cola, right beside a swollen calyx. Do you blades know?

if you have colas, its been flowering for a little while. by foxtails do you mean pistils?
these are male parts. if you have them that is bad(unless you want seeds)

Alternatively this goey mush from inside a growing calyx is the unnmatured growth that you've just destroyed. also, when i cut the stm in half, is all the white gooey mess inside like THC milk? :D

I personally believe your belief is wrong :lol:

I wish i was as stoned as him. Great info, I was told about the uv light by a old stoner, i looked them up then, and then completly forgot. Next time to get lights im gettin one, i live in northern Canada, sounds like, it's possible i havn't smoked the best yet.
