it's a 1000 year old technique air layering, most do it with tin foil etc but it's harder than you think, heat, rot, etc etc ... you gotta get the environment in the ball correct for it to work.

try it, i bet you struggle 1st time round.
i've air layered several plants, with wet paper towels and saran wrap. it's an easy way to clone, just seems like a lot of people don't like to do it...don't know why, takes up a lot less room than running a separate cloner
but i grew up with a granpa that grew kiwi fruit, pears, apples, plums....he taught he how to graft, clone....do all kinds of stuff that's proven itself useful over the years

that's where this product could go, down the wine, apple and cherry orchids as a bigger industrial version.

This way has many + signs, you only need one mother plant, one room, one light and you got a clone room on a perpetual whatever the word is, 10 balls clamped onto 10 stems while the others are growing, just cut off and move the balls onto other stems, leaving the ones cut off to grow again ... it might catch on, or benefit others better than the old naff clone-a-box way.

The down side is the time it takes, but i recon with some growers intel on best rooting ways would cut the time down.

So why dont you do it yourself? Seems as though you can do all aspects of it from the design to the building and the promotion of ut sounds like you're just needing help with the production. Best of luck to ya

I made it with a bottle and a small mini air pump off ebay cheap as chips, and some drip taps etc .. it all works great !! fresh roots and stem you can just leave it and you never have to water it etc etc

Looks and sounds effective on the plant with the bubble sounds .. sounds like it's doing it's job.

I got a multi connector booster jammer 2000 TM for the bigger mother plants

Price would be my concern. If I'd have to figure up what it cost me for every cutting rooted I would say 15-25 cents per cutting and that's probably high.

but you're talking on an industrial level

all the above suggestions for it are suggestions ... there's people out there not growing like you who would do it for a few clones at home.

think about it, 1 tent, 1 light, 1 plant in veg, while you take cuttings off before it flowers ... the limits are endless.
