I Hit a Deer and Didn;t Know What to do

It's been a weird couple of days. Normally I would think this was just Jibber but others may need to know too, so..

I hit my first deer on the way home. I got out and it was dead. My dog was in the back seat so I couldn;t really put it in my car. The road is just a two laner, it was dark, steep, and winding so I couldn;t ponder long. I made the quick decision to pull it behind my car and stand it up in the lane. I balance pretty well. I hope the next person to come around corner knew the correct response. What should I have done? 420?

Things are getting pretty serious between you and your dog if she'd get jealous of a dead deer.

Give the deer a long slow kiss goodbye. The dog'll see it, and in her jealousy she will get rid of the carcass. Then it'll be just the two of you as it should be.

Damn guys i totaled my car......came around a steep dark turn on a two lane road and had no time before I smacked into a deer ........weird thing is I could have swore it was propped up with a stick and had some kind of political sign around it's neck ..

Oh well.....I hid my wrecked car in the woods and waited in the bushes until the next car came along and heaved it onto there hood as they were passing .......that makes it there problem
