I have two plants out in the vegetable garden, they are close to 4 feet tall.

If your plant needs food it would probably help. If it is overfed it would probably hurt. If you don't know the difference, post a pic and describe what you have going on and specific product you are considering.
 
This picture is a week or so old, they are just in the garden. I really just meant throwing some foxfarm OF soil down by them.

That won't hurt her at all and will provide a bit of food, but you'd do better with a basic fertilizer if your leaves are not shiny, as it looks in your photo.
