I have mold in buds

i have mold in like 60% of my buds. I am in final flower stage and have cut out or picked off most of the bud and rotting buds...leaving nothing but some small budettes. is it even worth cutting drying and curing maybe an oz? Is there anyway to rid a plant in late stage of flower of mold? Asking for if I have to deal with this again.

I would look into trying to improve air flow and lower RH% also look into mold resistant strains ...good luck

In the future, keep the humidity down during flower, plenty of circulation, and consider treating the plants with one of the bacillus bio-fungicides prior to heavy flower. Chitosan has also proven effective against botrytis in studies- https://bsppjournals.onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/full/10.1111/j.1365-3059.2010.02312.x. All you can do now is rescue the uninfected buds. Others have also recommended mold resistant strains, and those can make a huge difference if this issue persists across grows.

I had huge mold issues with new strains in the closet and no prevention product.
With selected resistant plants and phytosanitary preventive treatmnent i get zero mold in the exact same environment. :)

Probably not worth growing then but still no reason you cant run a carbon filter and circulate air. Your house must reeeek.

It's worth it. :)
I have carbon filter and all air recycling and flowing system inside the tent, but the whole house is troglodyte, you have a small air recycling near doors and windows but everything else is locked inside the rooms. The guy who buildt the house was a stupid goatnot thinking about that.
But i still can do it with no issues as i said. Only with picking the right strain and plant, and with preventive products.

I think I'm going to just pitch it and starting over after 6 months is a real bummer. I had an exhaust fan and a fan blowing over the plant but during a rain storm and a power outage I lost both due to a trip breaker. Didn't notice it until a couple days later went to water. Turned on the lights and there it was a web like on my plant. I thought it was mites but was told by a member here it was mold. I removed it cut all the infected buds off about 75%of the plant. Damn bummer and that was the last seed of that strain called axilla...the life of a farmer.
