so i dont know if anyone does this, or if it is even a good idea, but what if i just grew clones off of one plant and force flowered them under 12/12 at a young age and got small amounts of bud off of many small plants, would this work / even be useful?

sorry if this sounds stupid, im new to the game
 
been lookin into this a bit and it seems kinda wasteful all in all an alot of people only pull bout 3.5 per plant . lot of work for not much reward have patience and even if u smoke a lot you'll only need about 4 grows a year
 
oh, ive heard of sog, never looked it up tho, as compared to a 3ft tall plant how many of those small plants do you think would be needed to have the same yield?
 
Ive set this up before in those red party cups, you can fit around 25 under one 400 watt easily and have spare room. depend on the strain for the yield but, i got the same from the smaller plants at i would from 2 larger plants that were vegged for 4 weeks (never topped just one single main cola) and the buds were hard as a rock and some decent stuff. So, its up to you, best this to do is to try a few grows that way then switch over to a normal seup and try that then compare, or do them side by side.
 
Man, I do what your talking about ALL the time. In fact the only veg time my clones get, is while they root. Then it's strait to 12/12. And you can get lots in a space when they're in a party cup, but i prefer something just a bit bigger, preferably deeper. Like a Big Gulp Cup. I tend to average 6-9g dry per plant. But Frequently see 10-14g. Just one solid cola. Harvests are good and potent. I can easily pull 1/4 LB harvest every 60-70 days. From a 400W Hps. I am perpetual all year long.

LOL MINIMUM GUY! QP is an easy breezy anyone can do it. A half pino under 400w is quite feezable, however requires good skill and knowledge.

I don't harvest bi monthly, I harvest every 30 days. Clones and seedlings (seedlings depending on strain) can be 12/12 from the get go for this method. And you first harvest can be achieved within 60-70 days. To be perpetual and harvest consistantly every 30days, you need to know your strain, and space, and have staggered stages of growth. Typically i harvest 1/4lb a month on average. To achieve that i do this. Clone 2 mothers, relentlessly over 2 week stages, till i fill 3/4 of my cab with clones. As soon as they root, 12/12! the 1/4space left in the cab will fit the 2 mothers. Now all are in there under 12/12. I keep 2 bigger clones back, and plant 4 seeds. The clones will be clonable in about a month to 5 weeks. And the seeds will be clonable in about 6-8 weeks. It takes some juggling to get your timing down.
 
okay, i figured why not, so i started my side project, a quick flower / veg box, its a coupls of beer boxes that 4 solo cups can fit nicely in, a light fixture, duct tape, cut up car sun shield, and thick plastic in the whole thing the plants have about 1ft of growspace so im hoping for about 1/8th of an oz per plant, bagseeds are germinating right now so here we go!

You will not get small plants unless you place the mesh above for SCROG (screen of green). As they wont trigger the flowering any faster than usualy. It is natural cyclus mo matter 12/12... they still have their pre flo and flowering period. In general, SCROG techique is the one that brings biggest yields.

What are you talking about....Going strait into 12/12 from day 1, forces flowering very early. been doing it for years. SCROG is just that , a technique. We are talkin about SOG. MAny clones, immeadiately into 12/12. No veg time. Or seeds too. I don't see how a restricting screen gaurentees you higher yeilds. Its a great method , but....it's just a method, nothing crazy going on there. This method couldn't utilize a screen anyways. They tend not to branch out this way, leaving you with just cola sticks. In general, SCROG techique is the one that brings biggest yields.
