I have 5 TGA subcool seed packs

I would like to start some super soil while I veg 2 packs... My problem is choosing which 2... Jilly bean, Jesus OG, vortex, Ace of spades, and 2pks of space candy. I was wanting a morning and eve smoke. I have a pack of Female C99 and Crit. sensi star that have been started. I have grown vortex before and was happy and it helped that it was an 8wk strain. I have 3yrs exp but still make plenty of noob mistakes... I am trying to make the switch to organic!
My problem right now is $800 worth of cali conn shit!! I did 1/2 the seeds and was not impressed for the most part but I have the other 1/2 pack vegged out and ready... I took only a couple of clones just in case. I am ready to move on from cali conn to something more stable... I will talk about my bad exp with cali conn but would rather talk about my TGA gear. What the hell! This run of cali shit has set me back and I am overdrafted in my bank, that has not happened since x-mas and is not my style... Kinda puts me in a savage primal mood! Beat my chest, scream, and pull my hair out!! Fuckin Tarzan... Fuckem bash away!!!
 
WOW i even offered to repaced your gear.. ... bash away ..lol if u have any issues with my gear hit me up if you wanna be a kid awesome...you find and hit me up and we fix issues.

man that sucks! Not that I need to remind you but.... don't fucking buy that much unknown gear! Hopefully you didn't just make the same mistake with TGA.
 
I KNOW that vortex will give me harvest-able females that I will be proud of. Plus, I only went half as many packs this time... I am not worried. I value stability more after this.
I dont mind any kind of comment. Thanks... Did you have a bad time with TGA?

I actually forgot that I grew Vortex back in the day...looked good till I accidentally introduced myclobutanil into my flower room and had to trash everything. Funny I'd forgotten, because I was JUST talking about how I "always wanted to run some TGA gear, but haven't because of mixed reviews". Bought seeds at the San Fran cannabis cup in 2011, same trip Sub kicked me down with a delicious nug of Jillybean.
 
I really need a wake-n-bake weed. I had some cali orange some years back and felt like it met the standard, so that is why I chose jillybean.
Vortex is the only one of tga that I had exp with and it makes me dizzy. Its good but not wake-n-bake stuff.
I got some headband years ago with the cali-o, and I have been searching for a good headband. Thats why I chose Jesus OG.
Not sure why I chose Ace of Spades. Everything was in stock and I chose it over cheese quake and agent orange.

nope, I've never grown any TGA, and probably never will. Smoked quite a bit, haven't been impressed, with the exception of being tasty, I find it lacking. Plus I've seen enough hermi reports to axe em off my list. To some it isn't a big deal, and I know others have had really good experiences so simply my opinion

However, as an amigo, and knowing how much you enjoy SSDD, I'd love to see you run Ripped Bubba. I'm 2 weeks away from two more SSDD, but the first one [smoke] was practically identical in ever way - except it took 2 weeks longer.
 
I guess that I make multiple purchases with seed companies until I find Impressive stuff a noob can grow. I started with Mr. nice, Serious, Cali conn, and TGA. There are 2 few from Reserva P and Delicious but not multiple packs. Because of my sucess with Reserva&Delicious, I didnt think Fem could be that bad. Ignorance, lol.
SSDD? Bohdi- SunShine DayDream? I googled it and got Same Shit Different Day LOL! Nothing about Bohdi at all. I was thinking of trying Bohdi and GGG for a headband cross

I noticed the same for Blue Tara and Tranquil Elephantizer, so I will document them as well as I can here so people know. I've found three journals of people sprouting the seeds then that was it. No other posts :(

I've got a GGG Grape Stomper OG Grow Journal going. It's my first Gage offering, if I like these two breeders I will do more journals of their gear. We'll see how it goes.
 
Amos I'd smoke your gear any day :) I've found a favorite pain killing strain, I'm sure I'll find more. I love me a good day strain too, plus I'm always on the lookout for something that works for me, or is simply outstanding. ETA I just can't imagine spending that kind of cash on anyone brand prior to trying it before. I've already spend over that but I at least tried different breeders and still am. But that much? On one strain? Talk about all of one's eggs in the same basket!

You're the cat that convinced me to give SSDD a go. Having tried one, and BBH, and through many discussions, I think I have a good idea of at least one type weed you're partial too. I'm on no mission, of course, for any company, but I'm confident you'd find RB the same as me [ pheno dependent, of course ]. That's the only reason I bring it up, as I think it would change your opinion on TGA gear, and I wouldn't have to counter each of your anti-TGA posts...lol. ;)

I cannot get clones or have a dispensary! The Only shit that I smoke is my own, so how will I try before I buy??? I buy different strains from the same company, not just one
 
I think TGA is a safe bet Mustang. My limited experience with them gave me easy plants to grow, nice yielding, visually appealing, *great* smelling, great tasting bud. Pleasant buzz, but not mind blowing. Honestly every strain I've ever puffed on from TGA had something about it that I liked. I think sub and I enjoy similar tasting/smelling bud.
