ok, anyways, is it in a big rockwool block or just a regular 1" by 1" cube of it? rockwool comes in all sizes,iv only seen the big blocks (around 4''by4'') for hydroponic ebb n flow systems.
dispensaries normally use rockwool cubes to sell clones becuase its cheap, and easy way to get them to root, then sell. if they did aeroponic clones they would have alot or root damage in the handling and traveling of the clone. its perfectly ok to use rockwool clone blocks(1"by1") in soil. you just need to make sure you cover the top of it with soil completely or it can get moldy/cause disease.
that being said, it shouldnt have anything to do with your plant yellowing. that could be lack of nitrogen (fertilizers). it could be ph lockout causing your plant to not be able to use the fertilizers already in the soil.if you could post a pic, it would be really helpful
