I got a question

Growing in a soil that has slow release nutes already in it...should i add anything or let it grow and see how it acts? My last one i grew in this soil I didn't add anything and it was the healthiest plant I'd ever seen but turned out to be male

I wouldn't use such a soil. I like to give what's needed as it's needed. But, some people like a more hands-off soil. If it worked well last time, I would treat it the same way this time. Presumably the last grow as aborted before too far into flower. You might find you need to feed in flower.

This is where the nutrient rich soils seems problematic. You don't know when to feed until you see deficiency. You probably want to have a simple 1-1-1 (NPK ratio) fertilizer on hand.

What soil do you use?

I used scotts hydragrow and last round I didn't add anything just gave it water...started it out with bottled water but when i potted it into a smart pot i noticed like a white crust starting to build up on the outside of the pot so I switched to rainwater which seemed to help alot and the plant seemed to like it...I thought about needing more nutes when going into flower so i have a 2-7-7 fert on hand it was the lowest npk I could find in any stores around here(can hardly find anything this time of year) i was going to use a low dose of that if i needed it but shortly after switching to 12/12 i found out i had a male but man i tell you that was the healthiest male I'd ever seen..it was like a dam bush
