Ladies and Gentlemen I present you Moose. AKA. Moosie. He's 10 months old, and I adopted him in conjunction with Advocates for the underdog. He really doesn't like having his picture taken, so these will have to do. He seems to love his new home, and he's the biggest suck ever. Without further adue.

Moosie!!

Enjoy!

What a cutie!!! Kudos to you for adopting a dog in need!! :D
Thanks. What's funny is I expected him to be a little disruptive, and the only thing I can't seem to get him to stop doing is Licking us. He's been great, and I was never really a big fan of adoption. But he's the man.

What the hell is a petterdale?

They look like really small pitbulls.

Like this...

But he is 100% Apbt. They just listed him as patterdale/lab so he could be adopted and not euthanized. Truth be told we were lucky to get him.

Just an FYI.... the puppy/dog chewing phase can last up to 2 years. Even if he isn't chewing anything up when you are home... just be warned that dogs who have just come to a new home will get nervous and worried when you leave them the first few times..... and they resort to chewing. Make sure anything you care about is not within reach when you leave.

Also, take care with cords when you leave.... years ago I came home to find the cord of a window air conditioner completely destroyed.... and my dallie had a pretty bad electrical burn on her mouth. Yep... she ate right through the cord and got shocked and burned in the process... she recovered. So anyway... when you start leaving him home... it's probably a good idea to confine him to a room with his bed, toys and water .... and nothing else he can hurt or get hurt by. :D

that is such a cool dog man! I wish I could have a dog in my apartment.

Fuck yeah Moose.
Thanks man, he's excellent. It's almost to the point where im asking "where's the catch". he's awesome. It would be tight if you were allowed to have dogs,as you probably already know, they bring so much joy into our lives.
This is my second, and Im going to have to continue having them for the rest of my life.

Are you from the states? In ontario even those are banned. Anything resembling a pitbull is done.

yeah the states. I come from poor areas, so i am used to seeing junkyared pits and fighting dogs. I knew one who ate a bunch of cocaine and was never the same. I have also seen my best friend cry after his pit was put down because of age. If you are canadian I am sure the dog will be treated right.

Thanks. I'm still curious to know if will have separation anxiety. We're going to crate him, but the rep said it's a possibility he could still get out of it. So with that said...I'll follow your advice.
