I get 1oz from autos and 2oz from photos.

I'm clearly not the best grower in the world but my grows are fairly consistent.
1oz from autos, and 2oz from photos, growing under HLG 240+QB clones.

I see people claiming they are getting 1 pound, and just don't believe it (not under LED anyway).
There's a guy claiming 1 pound in a recent thread, but showing plants the same size (or smaller) as mine (2oz tops).

Not all that bothered as I'm not a drug dealer and it takes me 3-5 months to use 1oz.
My lazy production and poor output provides me with around 10x the cannabis I need.

What to do with all the jars I grow but don't use?
Just wondering what you guys do with your 1 pound harvests?

I've got another 1oz (Orange punch) drying and 1 plant (Red Diesel) a week or two from harvest, and a Lemon Kush that's just been growing in the window under natural light.

I use 550 watts of quantum boards and my yield is like 28 ounces. That is 1.6 gpw to hit 1 pound with the HLG 240 you would need to yield 1.875 gpw. I think it can be done.
I guarantee it can be. Would definitely take the right strain and some know how though.

Well of course you need t know your shit to get almost 2gpw. But the question is what variables do you think ara the key yo those numbers. For example in my opinion good light distribution and intensity, an even canopy and having you're tent packed seems the most intuitive way to maximize yield.

What do you think is the key to get to those numbers ?
Strain- need super dense buds and small fan leaves so light can penetrate.
Lots of training. Probably a perfect manifolding..... Which adds many days to veg.
Perfect climate- temps, humidity, everything.
Possibly some extra co2
The perfect medium/nutrient mix
Little bit of luck

I run critical + with very dense buds, my climate Is good but not perfect I have co2 and use promix. I think that to get that bit of extra yield I need to do an hydro grow.

I would be comfortable with 1.6 gpw and probably just be satisfied with that lol.

Im satisfied yes but the point is that if I can get 1.6 then even 2 does not sound impossible. Another thing to consider is that yield does not grow linearly with light intensity so maybe the same 550 watts in a bigger area would yield better.

Make hash from the left over bud, higher quality product and makes gifting easy.

Veg time is the main reason some hit higher gpw, leds used longer veg times to push the 1gpw idea.

Environment is key

Edit: to expand on that light intensity/spread is the most basic part of it you get enough light then you have to get the environment perfect. It's super easy to get plenty of light just comes down to money you have to buy enough light for the space most people try to grow without enough light in the beginning a few use to much. If you really want to get the perfect intensity and spread you will need a good par meter like one of the newer apogee ones

2 is actually fairly easy with the right strains of you pull 1.6 consecutive cycles. you’re just not ever going to be maximizing your yield for area when you’re trying to be that efficient with your electricity/lighting. I hit 1.2-1.6 with just about everything under all my lighting types but I want to yield as much non larfy nug as I can in any given space, and lots of times, that means putting enough light in there to hit every corner of your space from 8’ up down to the ground with 900-1100ppfd non co2, and up to 1100-1400 supplementing co2. not much point to using co2 under 1200 or so afaik. But yeah, maximizing yield for space and maximizing gpw usually aren’t one in the same. So it depends on if you want the post bid you can grow in any space you are given or you want to be really efficient growing your buds and sacrificing in overall yield get your gpw up. Ime it’s generally easier to do higher gpw with less light, to a certain extent. Once you’re in the thousands of watts it becomes much less of a benefit to save a couple but and sacrifice space you have and weed you could have had, mostly just to feel good. I’m pretty sure there’s no “highest gpw grower in the land” trophy you’ll win at any point. Imo if you’re over 1 per watt(taking into consideration all equipment like fans, ac, pumps, etc., not just the lights), and your plants are consistently healthy and harvested in the correct range... then you’re doing better than most as far as I’ve seen.

Outdoors, it seems like a pound per plant should be fairly doable, not an exaggeration — I averaged slightly less than that last year but it was my first grow. I ended up giving like 99 percent away because it was just too much to smoke. Also I’ve infused vodka with it and my wife made a shitload of cannabis lotion.

A pound plant outdoor was light dep, planted late, or not healthy/taken care of. Well taken care out outdoor plants in the ground put out 2-10# if you’ve got sun/environment and healthy plants. 6 is the biggest I’ve personally done, but my buddy runs some outdoor Satys that I’ve seen end up over 20’ tall by the end of season in Northern California

Here are some big ones frkm quick googling, I know jj has posted some monsters on here also if you’re looking to see what big healthy plants look like.

I am also not a drug dealer but 1oz is for two weeks in my case so if you are in troubles with your jars you can easily send it to me and you will take care of them with pleasure :weed:
