I found some slime

i found some slime at the end of my air tube pump so i thinki its agale, what cause algae again?? and how do u prevent it and should i flush my plants too?

Not too sure what exactly causes algae i mean besides light for photosynthesis

I always shock my 10 gallon res with one half bottle of 3% h202 every other day until it is gone usually it is gone by the first treatment only once did i have to treat it more than 2 times.

You don't really have to do anything else, well you can use some hygrozyme or sensizyme or something of that sort to keep your roots fresh through your grow but i do that anyways
