I feel like i missed something, help?

ok so somewhere along the line i missed it, ive read a ton of guides, but i have failed to find out how long to keep lights on during each of the phases.

ive got three 100w cfl on just a single plant right now its plenty im sure right now im ok.

ive read soem people stay on 24 hours, some people do 18/6 and 12/12, whats the best for a seedling about 5 days old. also for a shorter plant when should i switch it to flowering, im growing in soil.

24 to sprout, 18/6 to veg, 12/12 to flower. Im sure thats on here somewhere.

Ya can go 18/6 or 24hrs. With your light i would leave it on for 24hrs. After it mature enough then switch to 12/12 to flower it.

and how am i supposed to know when its ready for 12/12. if somebody has a detailed guide id be glad to take a look at it.

well its on you ...u see once u switch to 12/12 the plant is more then likely going to dub in size so just how much room do u have???? u can also do a screen of green...or L.S.T. there is many ways..what strain r u going to grow???

Count weeks, and check your strain details too.

My SSH is supposed to be done within 11 weeks, at that time i'll just post a few pics, check out other flowering plants.. read up a bit more... and find out if it's ready for flowering or whatever.

As for now, I give my 2 week old baby about 18Hours, and leave it in the sun for the other 6 during the day.

I heard more than 18 doesn't really effect the plant... Though I would advise 24 until it's looking good.

more then 18 hr does speed those bitches up...my clones grow so fast i had to kill some because i was not ready,it sucked but life goes on

i wanted to keep it about 3 feet tall max. i have no idea as to the strain, this was just something that i wanted to try, so i just got some seeds from the bud i had and germinated them, so for the strain, not really sure, something commercial probably. it was more of a head high than anything but it doesnt for sure tell me the strain.
