i droped something on my baby

i droped something on my baby i snaped a lil of the top part of them its still connected and it stands on its own do u think it will heal back on?
side note: i just put string around it with a support next to it to help it stand.

edit : now i feel like shit i feel like i just beat up a person or something.

pics? i use duct tape.. its not pretty.. but it works well. support it with a bamboo stake as well

How many weeks (or months) old is your plant? Since you used string, just make sure it isn't wrapped too tight..

..i would use duct tape and a splint, if you use string and do not monitor it, it WILL cut into the plant and weaken it; a friend of mine had this experience and the string grew Into the plant then ended up snapping where the string grew into the stalk. the plant still lived as a good portion of it was still connected, we splinted it and taped it up, but it definitely stressed out his plant and affected his yield.
