Mother plants can be kept alive for years but they are saying they can manipulate cannabis to do the same in flower snip one off and another grows back no rejuvenation needed the key word is "genetically modified" meaning they can pretty much make it do anything if the can read the DNA right still want to say bullshit but anything is possiable but does that make it a new plant? Meaning it's legal until they ban it? Or is it just fancy spice sythentic

THC is illegal. Plant would still be illegal.

There are very long living cannabis plants all over the world that indeed do flower every year.

I should add that the Zamal is a plant where you cut buds and more form. I'm pretty sure DJ Short's Flo has some of this trait, can't you do multiple harvests off that line?

Zamal is the one that is most known and I don't think it's very easy to get there or to obtain seeds - Zamaldelica F2's might throw a phenotype possibly? I'm not sure how worked that line is really though. But there are plants that have been kept alive for a very long time. I imagine they just reveg etc just like you would with a plant you found in a pack of seeds you missed cloning.

Just for a mention.....
One breeder, I think on stax but I'm not positive, has used the ultimate euphoria from bc seeds.
He said it tested in the high 20`s in thc, but not the 40+ as claimed.
But on a side note, the bud picture looked nuts. Some of the largest resin glands ever seen!
Maybe there is something there?
People have now been claiming thc in the high 20`s to low 30`s so who knows?
