so i went to re train my plant its like at the 3rd week of flowering and a moved it slightly and it snapped off, im guessing because it when it was trained it was bent, however i put duct tape around the root, will that do? the leaves started wilting, its the only seed i have left of the strain too, the others also messed up, first time grower here, please assist me, ill try to get a picture or two, do you think they will recover, its kind of crazy because its flowering and the whole main root came off...

I would try to take cuttings and reveg them.. Youre not gonna get much anyways. Next time don't do any training that far into flower

If the root ball remained intact and the stem wasn't completely detached it might survive
The skin on the stem is how it takes in nutrients if that is broken you're done

say you went to dry it, and you cut off the main branch, thats practically what happened...am i done?i just put it back on and its still standing straight...:(

Juat my 2 cents. If it has any chance at all id take that duct tape off and throw some honey or root hormone over the wound and tie it up with somethibg airy and plastic, or medical tape, or grafting tape. That duct tape wont let it breath and gives bugs and mold a great home to fester within.

Otherwise dont do thaf next time lol. Plants that small dont need tieng down, its stretching cause it doesnt have enough light.

I broke the main stem once too. I was still in veg. though, and I grabbed what I had which was scotch tape, taped her up and she repaired herself with a huge knuckle to boot. Ended up being a beautiful plant with a bountiful harvest. Can't say that will happen for you, or even me again if it comes up, but just wanted to pass along the one time it happened to me. Good luck!
