I am soil ignorant. tga fertilizer help please

On the tga fertilizer instructions it says it needs to be mixed with a high quality soil base and worm castings. Will pro mix bx work for this, as it is a peat based medium?

So I have my 5 pounds of fertilizer and i guess im just gonna buy the cheapest soil i can find and add perlite and worm castings, mix together and wait 30 days.

I have some autos, kc45, that im gonna stick outside in my soil mix in the first week of june.

Yes, just avoid soils that have time release fertilizers added to them.
