is this an efficient bulb to use? "85 Watt Compact Fluorescent 5000K Full Spectrum CFL"
 
5000 lumens is more than I use per. bulb But I use 6 3250 lumens 4 coollights on the outside and two warm In the middle And all being four ft in leght
 
to goodgreen A short veg time like three weeks on 24 or 18 on 6 off. Then flower them quickly scrog is great for one plant But more is better try to grow a mother then clone her for the sea of green effect. but this cant be done with every strain
 
someone I know(I'm paranoid) will only be growing 1-2 plants. so only one bulb would be necessary right?
 
This Fluorescent light is alot like a regular bulb except cooler in design and prob longer id say almost a foot long.
 
How do you keep soils pH at 7.0? and if its low how do you make it go up and if its high how do you make it go down?
 
alright clfs are great I use them and truely amazed but I have to use ALEAST SIX FOUR FOOT LONG BULBS FOR THREE SMALL ASS PLANTS BUT GREAT BUDS, this is flowering which comes in place in week four to whenever you choose
 
is it possible to just cycle your plant on a 18/6 during veg. And water it the way you suppose to, then switch to 12/12 during flowering.... starting off on a 80W 48'inch FL's, then moderately increasing the light as the plant grows, without checking PH on the soil or the water?

i use distilled water

and jiffy's soil. (during the first week or 2) then i transplant into potting mix with more nutrients.
 
Right now, I'm in about my 6th day of flowering with BC Big Bud. I'm growing indoor. Soil. Just switched from my 20/4 Veg cycle to 11/13. Using a 1000w Metal Halide bulb ( I got it for 40 bucks)

My questions are mainly unplant related.

First off, electricity. During Veg, my electric bill practically doubled. So did my kwh usage. What are good tips to dispersing electricity? Power converter? Anything of the sort.

Second. Odor control, what is a very effecient and affordable method?
