It's time for a new thread. I'm no longer growing vegan. Just almost vegan.

Inda gro 420 combos - each covers a 4 x 5 area

8 Plants
2 Quantum kush (time wreck)
1 Quantum kush (sweet irish kush)
1 Mojos (jesus og)
2 Plushberry ( black cherry soda)
1 Plushberry (space queen)
1 9lb. Hammer (jesus og)
10 gal white grow bags
soil mix - peat moss, coco, leaf mold, compost, worm castings, crab meal, neem meal, kelp meal, Rock dust (bentonite, glacial, basalt).

Watering methods - seed sprout tea's, compost tea's, molasses, plain water

So far I've only had to water once every 8 days. Its made me kind of lazy.

Indoors in a rubbermaid. I just made as if I was doing a worm bin minus the worms. In a tote ( drill lots of holes on bottom and sides), but a thinner layer of peat moss and coco. a thick layer of dried leaves. Mixed it up. 2 weeks later added more leaves. Every 2 weeks I add more leaves. Just make sure its wet enough in there and that you turn it every few days. The leaves completely break down in 10-14 days. Its like a compost but at the same consistency as peat.

Dam water every 8 ddays for 10g?! I run 10g also and im doin every 3 ddays

you use fabric pots. Soil dries out faster especially the sides in fabric pots. I'm sure by the time they are half way done I will be watering every 5 days.

The whole garden looks awesome brutha Hy but that Quantum Kush is certainly special. Watering every 5 days though? Seriously

thanks. Yep larger pots = less watering times. I'm using grow bags. Not fabric pots and not air pots.

Do you use Sodium or Calcium Bentonite? All I can find around is animal feed grade, and they do not know which it is either.

the bentonite is the volcanic rock dust that is more common with most shops. There's all kinds of brands. Ultimately its the same thing. I get mine from a land scaping shop. Then order the basalt and glacial from keep it simple organics. They carry bentonite too.

I was planning on doing another video tomorrow. But I've been on a breaking spree bong, bowls, blender, camera, now my phone.. I ordered a new glass screen and replacing it myself. So until it gets here and fixed or until I can borrow a camera no more updates.

So the leaf mold is just aeration? not expecting anything much more from it? Iv'e been using growstone (like little volcanic rock pebble) but just found a free source for rice hulls- think iv'e seen it mentioned here somewhere, working with leafs but is leaf mold 'better' in any way H'root?

Leaf mold is an alternative or an addition to peat moss. Not aeration. I use coco for aeration. Leaf mold is basically composted leaves. Leaf mold is a renewable and sustainable source. Peat moss is not a renewable source. It takes thousands of years for peat bogs to form.. Leaf mold naturally has more microbial life than peat moss.

Yeah ok, thanks i may have been confused again. I use mostly coco, it does drain well on it's own (used only coco in hydro dtw) so didn't see 'aeration'. Hey looks great though, the one at the back is gonna be a tree!

Uhhhh hyroot, are you talkin about replacing an iPhone screen? Have you looked at the tutorials yet..? It is a clusterfuck to say the least. Did it to the ladies 4s, got it put back together, and all itd do was try to power up over, and over... and over. Lol

I always feel bad buying peat... I just mixed up 12 cuft or LOS and tried sourcing some CHEAP coco coir and HD was out of stock, to at least mix half and half. But I did find 2cu.ft of vermiculite for 20 bucks. Whoop! And asbestos free! Next batch I'm definitely gonna have to use my leaf litter... Take care!

I'm repairing windows nokia lumia. I've watched all the tutorials. I would never buy an i phone or even a windows phone again. I should of stuck with samsung. My buddy loaned me his tablet which has a camera. I never bought another one since my last one was stolen. I never really needed one. I will be able to to do updates.

You can get 2.5 cu ft of either cocotek or nutrifield coco for around $10 at any hydro shop. leaf litter / mold has near the same cec as peat. This is the first time i mixed a large amount into my soil mix. I'm still watering every 8 days. I buy peat sometimes too. I shouldn't have to for a while. I always got the premier peat at home depot.

I was kind of shitty with my premier, I had gotten some lamberts before and that premier had a shit TON of branches in it.

Btw. I love my iPhone. (4) but I wouldn't have it if t weren't JBd
