Hyrbidizing... very quick question.

Hey folks, so here is a very simple question that has been bugging me, as I have been trying to resolve a certain issue with a hyrbid situation I have had.

Imagine we have Plant A and Plant B.

Is Formula 1: Pollen of A X Female of B

the same as

Formula 2: Female of A X Pollen of B

At least in theory/on paper? (nature is always unpredictable, but let's keep this in biology class for now and no field study).

Thanks!
