hydroton drip system question

Or for more frequently for shorter periods. I have mine set on 8 times a day. Once every 3 hours for 5 mins, altho Im going to set it back to 4 mins.
 
With watering schedules we can only outline general rules of thumb. Every grow room is different and has to be fine tuned accordingly.
 
i run 24/7 but the problem i have is that I have to recycled all the waste water and that doesnt seem good in my opinion. but a 40 gal rez will be gone in a day if i dont recycle.
