Hydropolis tent experiences?

So, I'm in the market for a new 4x4 ft tent. I really like the covert tents that my friend has-they seem like the best quality for the price, and they are the most light tight tents I've seen, but all my previous experience with tents is 10 years old...long grow hiatus. Problem is, their 4x4 is 84" high and my ceiling is lower than that (I'll have to stick with one that is 79" high). My only other requirement is that it comes with a flap behind the zipper to block zipper light (like the covert has), and that it has quality zippers in general. So, I've been looking at all the mid range tents that have these features, and the only tents that match my requirements (that I have found so far) are the Grow Lab and Hydropolis tents. Well, the Grow Lab is sold out everywhere, so that leaves me with the Hydropolis tent. I have plenty of time still, and will continue to look at any brands that you guys recommend, but does anyone have any experience with this brand of tent? They aren't mentioned in many threads, and there are very few reviews on Amazon or other hydro websites. I'm tentatively going with a 630 cmh, or 2 315 cmh fixtures in the Hydropolis tent that measures 53x53x78. I'm very tempted by the hlg quantuum board fixtures, but I had a terrible LED experience last year with a supposedly "decent" fixture that I bought solely to raise up my outdoor vegetable garden seedlings before I planted them outside. Back to the topic, any good or bad experiences with the Hydropolis brand? How is the zipper quality? How light tight has it been in your experience? Thank you in advance for your time!

Cant speak to that brand but i had a vivosun, gorilla, and covert. My favorite is the covert because of that 84'' height. Honestly for all around functionality, the Vivosun is best. I hate the gorilla. 5 zippers to open the fucking door. The light proofing is second-to-none with the gorilla tents but that also means a large flap on the inside and outside of the tent that also velcro into place which adds to the irritation of opening/closing the son of a bitch. I know vivosun is a low end brand that gets shit on a lot but their tents are pretty damn good and about the cheapest on the market. I bought mine a while ago though so mileage may vary.

I just wish Vivosun would make the tents 1680d and thicker bars like Gorilla.
They're definitely worth the little bit of $ they charge for them though.

I'm disappointed the covert tent won't work, I really like them too. Thanks for the Vivosun advice, if it's decent, I wouldn't mind the savings I get from choosing it at all! How light tight are they though? Will I need to cover the zipper with something? I will likely flower at night, otherwise I wouldn't be so concerned about minor light leaks. I don't understand why people like Gorilla tents so much, I find them unremarkable compared to some of their much cheaper competitors.

Whatever mine was made of was pretty good quality, no light leaks. But yeah the thicker bars would be nice. The gorilla is crazy strong I will give you that.

I had no light leak issues with the zippers or canvas. The intake ports obviously let light in/out but they do on all tents....

The gorillas are very well built. The bars are much stronger, the zippers are the best, the canvas is the best. But not worth the 2-3x price. And like i say, 5 zippers to open a door. come on.

Go for one with 1 zipper. The flap is nothing. I have a 2x2 with 4 zippers to open the front. (Kitchen cabinet style) and it has light leaks. I can only use it to germinate and seedling stages. Too paranoid to use it further now.

I have a 2x4 with 1 zipper.. flawless.. not even an expensive brand. I can't even tell you lol Would have to look back at the purchase.

I got a “Zazzy” 4x4 brand one and it outperforms my vivosun from a material stand point

I've have a Vivosun 4 x 4 and a 2 x 4. I've had no problems with either of them. No light leaks and the zippers still work like new after several years of use. The frames on both are sturdy. Maybe you can't do a pullup on them but what more does a person need than to be able to hang a couple hoods, fan, and carbon filter. They do that without any problems. They have the black lining behind the zipper to block any light. I've been in mine and there are no light leaks. For $125 if I was to buy another tent I'd get another Vivosun. Plus they have plenty of vents on the bottom, sides, and a top vent so you can configure things in a variety of configurations.

Just like other things some think you need to spend a bunch of money. You don't. I grow my own cannabis to save money. I don't need the latest $700 LED to replace my HPS. I don't need expensive nutrients. And I don't need to pay for the most expensive grow tent on the market. I purchased a complete 600 watt 4 x 4 setup for around $300. I could have spent 4 - 5 times that and it would not have produced more or better cannabis.

I had never heard of these before, thank you for the recommendation! They look quite nice on Amazon and have great reviews.

I'm the same way honestly. If the vivosun works, I'm glad I don't have to spend more. Ty for your insights.

I find myself using the backside of the gorilla tent 90% of the time unless I really need to "get in there".
The zippers are excessive.
When I first put my 4x8 together, I got it all zipped up, stepped back and went, "Okay, so where are the doors??
Aww sh*t"...
