Hydrofarm making changes?

trying to find a 1/4 HP active aqua is impossible.I dont need a Half HP and seems like maybe they are done making them not sure.
Anyone have any alternatives?I was looking at the ecoplus but it has terrible reviews and dont want to waste money.I need one in a pretty short time period.

Maybe check the reef forums and see what chillers they like. IDK if they’ll be cheaper but if you’re looking for reliable those guys are into reliable.

Using an ecoplus 1/4 for a few months now with no issues. Not keeping an eye on minor things like the filters and keeping a distance from the sides and back for airflow, probably account for a bad review or two.
I have seen prices go down to around 300 for it. Paid less than half for mine. Just my .02

Heard from my local shop that hydro farm was having money issues and was bought out, same with sunlight supply. Idk how true it is but it seems to be from the changes and stock issues I'm seeing too
