hydro system questions..

hey was up riu im am looking into starting a dwc hydro grow for my next grow and i wanted to see if this would be good for a plant..

and i also wanted to ask if the pumps need electricity or if you put batterys??

it runs off electric and it seems ok pretty easy to expand aswell if you look on theyre website
