I've got a hydroponic system that I bought about 4 years ago that I tried and failed to grow because of bad lighting. I'm looking at starting up again but I need to know if I need to clean it out or if I can just fill it up with water and whatever again. I'm not sure what type of hydroponic setup it is, but it has a big tray (about 4' X 4') with a bunch of little cocoapuff looking balls in it. Do I need to clean the cocoapuffs? It's been stored in a few different garages over the years and it's in my shed out back right now collecting dust. Any help would be great.
