Hydro shop weed lingo

I never quite know how to refer to them. We only have one hydro shop around here, but I either dance around the mention of the type of plants altogether, or just call them tobacco, as if I were in a head shop. If anything, you'd get a smile or two.

Agreed make sure you know what you want. Try not to just go in for fun to see what they have, call ahead if your unsure they have what you want.

Most hydro shops Just give customers that are asking or hinting to a Marijuana subject a Blank stare as if to say "Duh"! I know the folks at my local shops just play "deaf" to any weed growin' questions. Tomatoes are a good Name because they both grow straight up, have side branching, produce a "flower" and fruit (nuggs). They really don't need to know what specific plant you're growing except for: Indoor/outdoor, soil/hydroponic, organic/juiced up, seedling, vegatative, flowering, etc. And if you're a regular customer, over time they'll know. But its just business to them. They just want to sell it to you, and help you to be successful in alll your growing. Ain't that nice? Peace

dude... its a hydroponic shop... 90% of the customers are probebly growing miracle weed 
I remember my frist time in a hydro shop... they already knew what was up when i asked for an HPS bulb. and told them im growing 6 plants

The shop I go to is 100% cool with it, they all blaze the refer, I gave the guy a sample of my first harvest, and said thanks bro. they even do a thing were the more you buy the more discount you get each time, and when they fill info out they just ask for a fake name. its sweet. timmy j
Might not be completely related but I was talking to a close friend I work with about my plants at a store we work at and I was saying things like
"I keep the girl in the closet"
and
"I only give her water every couple days"
We then realized it would almost sound less weird to just say "pot plants" so people didn't think I was keeping kids locked up in closets.

My hydro shop is cool. The first time I went in I was looking for an ebb and flow table. She asked me if it was my first time and I said yes. The she turned me on to bubbleponics, due to its ease for newbies. She keep referring to the girls don't like this and the girls like this.
But never say pot, weed or any other similar term. Just say my girls, everyone know why you are there. Just be cool.

when choosing some new ferts a while back the sales guy at my local hydro said id get "some of the most potent tomatoes" iv ever had hahah
