So far im using Jungle Juice m/b, bud candy and powder ph. At first i thought it was the powder ph because i didnt mix it in well but i did this time and it keeps happening. I think what ever this is killed one of my previous plants anyone know what this is ? is it harmful ? and how do u get rid of it.. my plants are a couple of days into flowering i dont want anything messing em up

Dont know the ph because my meter broke and the water feels pretty cool not warm at all.. and its not foam from the bubbles i think its the powder ph. Should i risk not adjusting the ph and just use the nutes ? my tap waters ph is pretty high tho, ima prolly stop using it next time i change the res and see if it happens

Bud candy have any carbs (sugar/molasses)? Foaming is a sign of microbial activity... meaning bacteria are multiplying in your bucket!!! Hope you like soup. :( I would suggest cleaning everything with h202, replace any airstones/lines and try again without carbs, as I dont believe they don't do much of anything but cause problems in hydro systems.

This was happening before i used bud candy its the powder ph..

Is it PH down? if so you may have used too much. Cyanobacteria (sp) loves phosphorus and will grow if there's light getting in the res... Had a fat bloom of it in a 55 gal drum, not fun to clean, and then when the bud candy is also used its just feeding the bacteria.. No matter what you think it is, my op is still on point, empty, scrub and replace airstone, dilute your ph powder in a gallon of water and adjust your ph that way.

And get your meter fixed, in a bucket like that, your only asking for trouble if your trying to adjust without one.

um yea its ph down lol and i know more or less how much to add to it to get the ph at 5.5, i used the meter yesterday it was correct its just a bitch to get it to work because the bulb broke. Cant replace the airstones right now but do u recommend any way to clean that and the res ?
