i have keep them at 16/8 since sprouts, i only have 6 23 watt bulbs. when i was using vegging formula i used 5 blue ,1red spectrum bulbs. now that i am using flowering formula i use 5 red , and 1 blue spectrum

What kind of peppers you got going there?
I am doing similar, I have some wax peppers, jalapeno and banana peppers going.

can u get these same results in soil?
you could get the same results in soil . I am only using cfls. so i figure cfls+hydro= like garden in summer. the kicker is that this was during the mid of winter. If i had a HPS/MH i dont think you could come close with soil. i find hydro grow anything faster. the best part is that you can grow many plans iun a small space because they are not fighting for the nutes in the soil.
