hydro or soil?

helpp
i have an indoor grow room thinking of growing abotu 4 plants under a 400w mh, should i use soil or hydro?
i really cant be phucked to get all the shit for hydro

hi use coco coir you get fast unbelievable vege growth and great big nuggs depending on what size you grow them and what size of your room,just my opion but have had great results over past years with it

Soil is cheaper and easier to do then hydro. Same results.

what mix do you recommend?

i use 100% coco,but have had heard people with good results with a layer of clay balls if you are worried about root rot about bottom 2 inches of pot then a mix 70% coco & 30%.but i can only say i use 100% the whole way thru it all depends on your set up but i get good results i grow in a carpet style not straight up and have a vege room as well so this system works well with me for the time on vege can be 8 weeks and then about 8 weeks on bud so a cylce may be 10-12 weeks total as there is a crossover from rooms depending on when i get my shit together to take clones how fast they take and that all varys on time off year wheather i need heat pads or not that sort of stuff

Soil is pretty easy to do if you follow the growfaq and ask questions here. As long as you don't overwater. Yes you can go 3 - 5 days without watering, don't try to water 3 times a day you will be OK. Do not use anything except straight water for the first 2 weeks if not longer.

I just use one soil mix - ProMix Organic. I iadd nothing else to the soil, I'm good to go.

I do mix a light amount of Hydro Nutes to my water when I water and it does make a difference. The key is not to go overboard. If a little works great a little more usually just kills the plants.

With Hydro except for DWC I have had no luck with regular plants so far, I'd say do a hydro setup with regular plants and if you can't get them to grow then don't waste your beans on it.
