Hey i know organics is the accepted method around here but i figured id post my hydro grow.. it is still tga genetics afterall

Ok onto the setup.. got a 3x3 flood table under a 1k hortilux.. 11 jillybean clones in 2 gal smart pots. Topped and tied for about 3 weeks during veg. Doin my best to keep em short.. Only have about a foot of vertical grow space left.
Stretch has not been bad so far. Lots of aggressive branching and bushing out though
My whole garden atm currently consists of strictly tga genetics.. Have qrazy train, jillybean and spacedawg moms. as well as a 5 pack of chernobyl im itchin to pop

Anyways on to the pics.. Today is day 7 the last day of week 1 flower. Res change tomorrow will continue veg nutes thru stretch of about 3 weeks.

Really nice set up man. Loving the 2 gallon smart pots with hydroton. Wonder what out come would be if u flipped to 12/12 now.

How is the hydroton working out in the smartpots? Any specifics on your set up? Nutes, feeding style, etc?

Your plants look great!

Thanks for the comments guys!!

@a mongo frog I already flipped em. There about 10 days in now. Ill get some more pics ina day or two

@Mithrandir420 Lovin the hydroton/smart pot combo so far. Insane root growth, like a mat of roots underneath the pot. Ill be sure to snap some pics of it next time too..

Floodin the table for 15 mins every 4 hours during lights on only. Running dyna gro for nutes. Been using em for the last 3 grows soil/hydro and cant imagine switchin nutes anytime soon. Super sterile and concentrated nutes and provide all 16 mico essential elements.. what else could you ask for.

Have 16 spacedawg clones that are currently in the cloner waiting to root.. there goin in my soil tent when the jillys finish in about 3 weeks. Only got 1 female in a sd 5 pack i popped but hopin its dank haha like all tga genetics have been for me so far. Pretty excited for this strain as its the only indica in my garden and im lookin forward to some knockout budzz

Pics are the sd clones and a qrazy train nug from my last run
Any other questions/comments feel free to post

I have been thinking about trying out Dyna Grow, I hear good things about it.

Your set up looks killer. I had never thought about hydroton in smart pots, but it makes sense and obviously, it works.

I've always wanted to do a hydro grow.... I'm liking your setup as well... Cant really go wrong with the way your doing it. Keep the pics coming...

Ok i think its time for an update..

Some pics from day 25.. Things seem to be sailin smoothly so far. Great resin production so far and buds look ready to stack..
Stretch is over but im at the limit for headroom. Only about a foot between the light and the top buds, good thing its winter and these low temps will let me run em that close

Choppin my soil jilly this weekend. Try ta get some harvest/bud shots of those come chop time.. Pretty pumped to see how they turn out and what that could mean for this hydro run

:leaf:I'm really interested to see the comparison between your soil jb and your hydro. Set up looks great. Sub'd.

How do you keep you res sterile? H2O2? Bleach? Just curious.

Looking great! Thanks for the update!

Heh heh, I made the exact same trellis. PVC pipe and the white trellis netting. Works great over the flood trays to provide stability when they get top heavy.

I am all inspired now. Once my current room expansion is done I think I might have to crack a couple of TGA beans.

@scugg I use h202 in the res. 3ml/gal every 2-3 days.. Ive ran bleach in the past with ok results but prefer h202

Got some harvest shots of the soil jilly for christmas eve
