Brand new grower here, thinking about doing hydro in a closet or two (maybe one veg one flower, or just one dual-purpose with a room for storage/curing/cloning?)
Anyways. . . I have been looking at making a system similar to the AA EconoJet 22" but with individual parts, and getting a short/fat res (more on that later). I would use Rockwool for starters, and clay pebbles for the other medium (identical to Mr. Green's Flower room on his video). Would that be advisable to use in a small closet space like that? I can easily control the temp/humidity.
Alright, now for the shitty part! I have two separate closets, each 31"W x 25"D x 61"H (hence why wanting as short a res as I can, and only using the 22" tray). Also, I have a 5 foot height between the floor and where the light will have to hang. I know I can probably only hold about 4 short plants in that space, but that isn't too bad.
I would really like to make one a veg room and one a flower room, but that would mean buying/making 2 hydro tables, and more lighting shit. I think I could rig one squirrel cage to exhaust both closets, but it would obviously be easier to exhaust one room. I am still weighing the pros/cons for each, but I hope to get a little experienced insight here.
Absolutely any criticisms and suggestions are welcome, I am still learning!
Thanks!
