I have a question regarding inline fans ECT. I have a 8000btu AC unit various settings inside my 3x6x9 closet hydro grow 1000w DE hps do you guys think the inline ducting is worth using? I have an exhaust plus the ac unit. Thanks

You mean you have an air cooled reflector like the AC/DE? Generally speaking we don't air cool DE's because it cools the arc tube (they use nitrogen instead of a vacuum in the outer jacket of the lamp). The AC/DE hoods run the air through the reflector but not over the lamp itself. This removes some of the heat but probably not worth it with a one light grow and AC.

Yeah I got you on the air cooled hood. No mine is a 1000w double ended hps with a built in ballast on the fixture not an air cooled fixture. My AC works ok for now but I'm going to need to get an stand up mobile A/C unit for indoor use. Any recommendations for a mobile unit for the grow space? I've seen the ones that has the built in humidifier/ dehumidifier ECT with the unit. I was referring to running an a/c unit in the space in regards to my inline ducting coming into the grow room.

Does anyone know what this is??? Maybe over feeding? Rust spots.. pH is spot on, water temps are managed, also I just dropped the ppms 435. Thanks 730043483~3.jpg907685330~2.jpg393035558~2.jpg260822249~2.jpg

Looks like you might be getting the start of some PM. I say might because it's hard to tell for sure. Here is a snip of the spots that have me seeing PM
