Hydro/Aero training/tutorial videos

I have downloaded a lot of videos (Seemorebuds, jorge cervantes, that green guy etc) and although they talk about various hydro setups, they dont go into detail. The mostly go over the same things for beginners. I was looking for videos that specifically talk about hyrdo and what I need to learn.

Anybody know of any or can you point me in the right direction?

:blsmoke:

Videos are good for process but reading is best for nuts and bolts. Try all the stickys ar riu. Then the best training is to just jump in and try something hoping for a good education more than a big yield.

Yeah man, I guess your right. I will just copy n paste a bunch of info from the stickies and make my own *must read* booklet haha! Just sometimes its easier to watch a video of somebody that knows what they are talking about...means I can get chonged and listen.

I have posted up in another section about which type of non-soil setup I should go for. Want to make sure I go for the best method...I just dont know which yet. Aero or bubbleponics...

Got some great stickys like ones from Roseman Epix etc.

Just wonder if anybody else has some hydro training videos or links I could download? Long shot I know...but if you dont ask and all that!

Cheers folks :)

Right, im well confused with this whole hydro business haha! I just realised how little I know,

1)
Is there a rule of thumb when adding plants to how much is needed in your res? Just so I can purchase a res which will be big enough for all my plants.

2)
Truncheon Meters are essentail? Do I need one that measures
PH
EC (electrical conductivity)

Wtf is TDS... I dont know what all these terms mean haha!

1) IMO, depends on the set up...

2) PH meter and PPM meter is what you need (or one that does both). TDS stands for Total Dissolved Solids and is just another way of saying PPM.

cheers man :D

I will hunt down a Truncheon that does both

What about these thermometers that stay in the res to measure temps...i take it their essential?

What about brands/models etc...any advice on which are best?
