Hurricane Irma, no power what do I do?

So they look pretty normal, early bud development is very taxing; don't try to compensate, steady feedings. It's been a while since I used the trio but it was a hot mix at suggested. are you using anything else, any bloom enhancers?

Agree with @chillok. That is plant senescence; nothing to worry about if it's a few sun leaves here and there.

Ok thanks you guys, just worried me because almost 50% of fan leaves turned yellow overnight.....and it seemed to stop there, I haven't noticed it progressing except for the current yellow leaves dying off. I have been researching and it seems to be maybe genetics as some plants turn yellow early and some don't turn yellow until the very end of flower.

Needless to say, the buds are starting to really fill out. Long white hairs that almost connect each other all the way up each stem, with about 15% orange hairs. I'm thinking another 4-6 weeks before I can start flushing, but she will tell me when she's ready.

Ok everybody I fed my baby with nutes this morning at lights on and checked on her when I came back home from work. WOW! Every time I think she looks good she always finds a way to impress me. I feel like I am well past halfway, maybe about three quarters of the way...but what do you guys think? I bought a 60x jewelers loupe off of eBay and to be honest I really can’t see the thrichomes well enough to tell if they are starting to turn cloudy. Also have a magnifying glass but I feel like my phone zooms in way farther than any of them. I’ll try to look for a better loupe but what are your opinions on where I’m at? Still could be 4-5 weeks before I start thinking about flushing right? And then 2 weeks after flush? They’ve really packed on weight this last week so maybe it could be quicker than that? Thanks for any responses I’ll post up some pictures, hopefully she’ll be ready soon I’m dying to smoke her! I’ve been patient this whole time and now I’m starting to get antsy

Hang back on the nutes for a few days. Looks like minor N toxicity -- leaf tips curl down and under as well as slowing bud development. Give those girls plain water (pH it) for the next two feedings and see how they look after that. Leaves should lighten a bit more and buds should start filling out faster.

I usually feed nutes every other feeding, with water that is unfortunately not ph’d. I do have a ph meter that I feel like doesn’t work but it always shows my soil at a ph of 7 after I water.

Do they look close to being ready? I’m trying to check trichomes but my loupe isn’t really that great, but I feel like I still have a few weeks before I need to start thinking about flushing....all in all this grow was a test run to learn everything I could about growing, as I knew basically nothing going into it.

Should I feed her nutes again after the next couple of regular water feedings?

Judging by pistils and size of the buds, you definitely have at least 3 more weeks. This looks like a plant that is between the end of the 4th week of flower and beginning of the 6th week. Flowers should swell up in size over the next 14 to 21 days.

Resume nutrient feeds every other watering after two plain water feedings IMO. Dial back the strength too, i.e., if using 2 teaspoons per gallon drop to 1 for one feeding. Your plant should be full steam ahead from here on out. Oh and if you have a PK booster, I recommend hitting her with a light dose at the next watering. Just the PK booster and pHd water.

Invest in a decent pH meter and EC meter. Those two tools are the most important next to temperature and humidity meters.

Hey everybody so I seem to be having a problem now. Last night before lights out I watered her with fox farms trio nutrients 3tsp/gal of big bloom, 2tsp/gal grow big, and 2tsp/gal tiger bloom (I went off the soil feeding chart)

Ok so my problem now is when I went to turn lights on I noticed about half of my fan leaves turning yellow and some of them died off completely. It looks a lot like nitrogen deficiency which could make sense because I haven't fed her nitrogen since I flowered her except what is in the fox farms nutrients. My next feeding should I add a little more N? Next feeding will be with plain water so should I mix only N nutes? Or does it look like I have another problem?

I know it is normal for a few of the fan leaves to die off, I've had so far maybe 3-4 per week since flowering that died off which I know is normal...but within one night almost 50% of fan leaves are turning yellow. Mostly lower fan leaves the leaves up top haven't been effected yet

Strip all those fan leaves! You’d be amazed what the plant will do with all that extra light down there

A little update on my girl! Just finished day 50 of flowering. Her buds have really thickened up in the past week, and checking trichomes they all look mostly cloudy but I can see the buds still are nowhere near done. I know I’m real close, I’m thinking 3 more weeks and she’ll be ready for the dry/cure process :leaf:

I’ll post some pics, tell me what you guys think!

Spot on with your assessment of 3 more weeks. Those buds should continue to swell so make sure to keep your humidity and temperatures steady to prevent bud rot. Airflow is key -- across the top and underneath the canopy will keep everything healthy.

Fuck Irma thankfully my indoor season starts after hurricane season when it's nice and cool at night. Glad to see you've surpassed the circumstances!!! :) What's the strain?

The strain is pink lady aka pink kush, but I honestly am not 100% sure the strain because it was a bag seed, but so far it’s showing all characteristics of being pink kush. Week 9 flowering I think I’ll let her go til next Friday and then turn lights out for 2 days and harvest next Sunday. Already showing amber trichomes on the sugar leaves and near the tops of the colas but still white hairs everywhere.

I also noticed the presence of fungus gnats, or atleast what look like fungus gnats. Not flying yet but when I move the top layer of soil I see little tiny microscopic white/clear bugs crawling around. Nothing on the plant yet except some of the leaves have really nasty brown spots on them. It’s too late in my grow for me to want to do something about it, one week left they shouldn’t do that much damage. (Atleast I hope anyway)

I trimmed her up a little bit to help expose some of the colas a little more, overall I am very satisfied with my first ever grow, excited to see my finished product after drying and curing. Already have og kush seeds and white rhino seeds I ordered from msnl ready to start my next op!

What’s up everyone! So after examining trichomes this weekend I decided that she was ready to harvest, all completely cloudy trichomes that were curled and heavy looking, while all of the small sugar leaves were covered in amber trichomes and some amber trichomes on the buds near the leaves.

I trimmed her up and kept maybe 75% of the sugar leaves because they were covered in amber trichomes. I figure if I don’t feel like feeling the cbd effect I can just simply remove the leaves on the buds (which most likely won’t happen)

But thanks everyone who helped me with all of my questions, I’ll post up some pics and also some follow up pics whenever she’s dried and cured. Oh yeah also each stalk weighs well over 20 grams and I have 16 full stalks, as well as about 10 small stalks that weighed about 10 grams each. Not sure how much they will weigh after a good dry and cure, but I’m willing to lose weight for quality buds.
