Humidity??

...Ive been reading on how important humidity for
when you are drying out your bud. Supposed to keep
it around 45%, and dark, with some air circulation....

So I know my temps are good, But Im pretty sure my humidity
is down at a normal level for a well vented house. Since I am
wanting to take some samples, and also for future hanging
of the bud I need to get my humidity figured out.

I ordered a hygrometer so that should be good within 5%RH

But I need to UP the humidity, I read a bad description of
using perlite, and an air stone. I was like sounds good but
read some more. So I found some mini foggers
that "i guess" you sit in a container of water
and people say they work pretty good if you
put it on a timer for 10-15min PER hour in the drying room.

How does that sound to you guys?:leaf:

Thanks for the reply.

haha if I knew what the humidity was I woulda said that instead.
So whatever majority of peoples homes are when the weather is
80 some degrees outside and just everyday humidity, Id say 15
to 20% maybe. Thats my guess. Until my meter comes in at least.

Im gonna search some more, Anybody wanna chime in
feel free All ive found so far is people saying "bowl of water
and wet towels" all that stuff that really only raises it 5-10%
and requires constant trips back to the room.

Get a humidifier at wal-mart. They are like $10-$20.

Yeah I have one. But not a very efficiant way of doing it.
And it has to be on all day long, which means more trips
to the closet to change water twice a day and I hate
messing with that stupid ass humidifier. Its a warm one
so that makes it like twice as annoying as if it were a cool mist.

Well, Guess I'll pick me up a mini fogger and see whats up.
Nothing like first hand experience. Plus theyre only about 12$
