Humidity Tent Help!

Some seeds I found in some pretty decent bud sprouted, I placed it in 16oz cup with soil, misted once, placed a baggie over it and put a 42watt cfl above it about 3'' away, is this mimicing a humidity tent? Ive never really started from seed just going by the book. :peace:

Sure is, as long as it contains humidity around it, it is. A heat mat will work well with it.

Awesome. Do you guys use 24 hours light for seedling or just stick with 18/6?

i like to use 24 hours of light cos it grows quicker, and ive never had any problems with it

cool Ill try it and see what happens, I know it could take couple days or a week to sprout..hope she does under 1 42watt cfl ><

I would say put them somewhere dark till they show bro you will get alot faster results.then do the tent thing once the seed has legs[roots] but make sure to missed the inside of the bag and also put a few little holes in it so that the seed can breath.

its tail is already out I just needed to know if i can use a tent for now until she comes up from the soil.
