Humidity on clones

I know that its good if humidity is around 95-100 on roots, but how about clones themselves?

Is it okay if the leafs are wet all the time with constant droppings on them?

Clones are put into a transparent box having a humidifier constantly keeping nice humidity in it with a stream of cold mist.

temp is around 26-30.

its under a 125 blue Flourascent lamp 24/7 . And a also its getting plenty of light from 600 MH from the side on 18/6 cycle.

clones are in RW cubes. those are pretty wet all the time =)

Used Clonex gel + presoaked the RW cubes in Root Stimulator for 24 hours before putting the clones in it.

Does all that sound safe enough for a 100% rate?

Also why are couple of leafs a bit yellowed at frames?

Any suggestions?

did you "edge off" all your fan leafs on the clone(s) you cut? if not, i woudl suggest it in the future, it helps the clone dedicate its energy to root growth alot better. i'm guessing your yellowing is a good thing, aka a sign of new root growth in your clones, if the yellowing is mainly the bottom node leafs.

The man knows of what he speaks.:weed:

Don't worry about the water on the leaves, just keep an eye out for dead leaves they go moldy fast, get them out quick. I would also open the two top air vents all the way this will allow some air movement.

Sounds good, but I'd still open the box up once every day or 2 to give the system some fresh air.

I like to edge off, too. I always felt it was a good way to slow down transpiration from the leaf-side, because there are no roots yet.

Yellowing is fine. The clone needs to get the raw materials to build roots from somewhere. That somewhere is the leaves.

Thanks, Dudes! Inspiring feedback. Ya, I did cut the fan leaves in half.

My 300 led and a new DWC bucket are awaiting for them Himalaya Gold clones =) I'm about to see some great bud in a couple of months.

for now Im gonna smoke this Cheese from the last Soil grow. ... Or shall I go with White Rhino? Geez I don't know.... I love to choose though =)

Too bad I'm out of that sweet Church I had =( It was sooo good mmmmm.... My fav bud so far.

good set-up, wish i had it. lol. im using a heating pad, with NO dome in soil. i werks, but ITS COLD RIGHT NOW. takin a while to root even w/ the heating pad! lol.

Okay just dont fall from da chair... the humidifier cost 100 euro.... i run 2 of those.... Welcome to Europe +.+

Well, if it works.

Sounds like too much moisture if the leaves are constantly wet and a invitation to rot.

I use no dome and only mist for the first 2 or 3 days once or twice/day.

I use RW also. Make sure there is a bit of perlite under the cubes so they don't 'suck' themselves to the tray, cutting off air to the roots.

I'd for sure get some circulation going and let the tops dry out some. Constantly wet is not a good thing.

YMMV

Wet

A quick question though!
Howlong does it usually take to get them roots?
Only one clone out of a batch of 12 has shows some.
Others are not showing any yet.
Its been 12 days so far.

When is it the time to transplant?

Can it take more than 12 days? Most of the clones are looking well. Yellowed at frames hard, but pretty good looking in my opinion.

cant post pictures thought, no camera =) gotta get one.

so can it take more than say 15 days ?
