Humane Execution

SALT LAKE CITY (AP) — In the wake of a botched lethal injection in Oklahoma last month, a Utah lawmaker says he believes a firing squad is a more humane form of execution. And he plans to bring back that option for criminals sentenced to death in his state.

Why so much worry over it being humane? It's meant as punishment. They are taking a persons life for crimes they have committed against another. Not that it should be intentionally torturous, but so what if it is.

They say a " proper" lethal injection does not meet the humane standards for animals , The way it's done in the US is the same exact methods the nazis used in WWII , It was designed to be humane to the exectuioner not the criminal

I believe a proper hanging to be the most humane way since the nuice tightings in less than a second instantly snaping the neck causing instant death , Thats the way it's susposto work atleast

Ever seen anyone die? I have (car accident; it was fucking awful bro). I would personally, as a tax-payer, rather pay to keep them imprisoned because that is what a civilized society should choose to do. It is also the right thing to do. Ask jesus christ. There's no such thing as a humane execution. Just like there's no humane means of getting animal meat. Humans are barbarians. Until we learn killing is wrong, period, we won't move on to our higher evolved selves.

Happens regularly.
Texas is real good at killing black men. Are they saints? Don't know and don't care. Seems to be a serious compassion deficit.
Here (canada) we just lock em up. Not saying we are superior. But we got rid of it as did the majority of developed countries a while back.
I put my cat down in January. He was old and had got very sick. I paid to have primo treatment. He was sedated for an hour. Then the vet stopped his heart. That is humane. This isn't. At the very least they have to be killed humanely. Why? It is not the role of the state to exact revenge. Is it not 'cruel and unusual punishment'? If they were guilty then they will pay for their crimes after death. Why be barbaric? Makes no sense at all to me.
If anyone I loved were murdered I would rather look the murderer in the face and ask him/her why and did they regret it. I would not want them killed. I would rather they have a chance in life to mull it over and seek forgiveness (in a prison, of course).

I agree with the humanely part ,, Any socity that does not lead by example is doomed to failure

But some people do deserive to die , putting a cold blooded killer behind bars the rest of their life is inhumane to the rest of the prisioners . puting him in soltairey confinement is just as inhumane as killing him

Someone that admitted or was caught red handed killing another person or multiple people.

I think the executions should be broadcast on live TV.
(Parental discretion advised)
This would send a message to all the Godless, soulless or lawless haters in the world today.
Just like in the 1800's.
The towns people would gather in great masses to watch criminals being hung
in the towns square.

A new example has to be set to stop all this violence.

If I had to be murdered state sanctioned or otherwise I would chose firearm to the cerebellum. It is the most 'uncruel,' unfortunately I have had the supreme displeasure of witnessing such terrible things firsthand many times.

A well placed bullet is quick, this much is certain.

This kind of lack of emotion is typically something reserved for people this social disconnection disorders.

OR your emotions are overriding your logic, as logic would more then likely lead you to the conclusion that murder just leads to more murder. Humans are very corruptible.

Or I am totally wrong, this is completely possible.

I used to think when I was a bit younger that capital punishment was 'just' or deserved. This was before I had ever experienced life! A fucking snot nosed kid just out of high school who knows EVERYTHING of course.

I am barely a decade older, but I have had so much experience since then I have done a complete reversal. Capital punishment is not something I personally condone. Why not?

The 'punishment' serves as NO DETERRENT


Why do we generally as cultivators try to keep that magic 99 limit? Jail time. That is a massive risk, right? Mandatory minimums kick in, fuck that shit! I stay WAY UNDER that shit, I do not want that headache.

But cultivating is a slow process, everything is with a purpose, everything planned. The plant can only grow so quickly. Cultivation is a crime that takes time and planning.

Murder is committed typically is two ways: impulse
Planned

People who plan a murder do not give a fuck about the punishment. This is a person who is a sociopath, does not follow typical societal convention and doesn't accept the social contract the rest of is do daily.

Impulse murders are done 'on a whim,' a husband returning home from work too early one day, a robber intending only to rob nervously squeezed the trigger, etc.

People who are willing to kill are either people at the end of their rope or generally need mental help dude.

Maybe all that was bullshit, you may call it that.

But I'm older now and see so much more violence.
It really doesnt matter which weapon is used, guns, bombs, sticks or stones,
people worldwide are becoming extremists in killing other people.

Is it the NWO thinning us out?
Obama and his race wars?
Everybody seems to take sides and hate prevails like a Jerry Springer episode.
We see it in the Politics thread everyday, and it wasnt like this 10-20 years ago
when we tried to work out problems, not oppose everything the other guy says.

Democrats love 'special interest groups' and that's where the NWO is fucking up.
Some people feel it's OK for them to go shoot up their ex's workplace or whatever.

I served just shy of seven years as an army combat medic and nurse. Only two deployments, and only to Iraq. Violence of the most fucking awful degree. I have seen men reduced to their baser instincts forced to survive in extreme conditions. On both sides.

I went overseas as a young man, an idealist that was so fresh and guilt free thinking that i would get to be a medic finally! Yeah!

The cliché is that killing a person or seeing a person die violently has some sort of . . . a, sort of . . . Mental click.

That didn't happen to me until my second deployment when I treated a soldier who had decided to take the permanent solution to a temporary problem and killed himself with his carbine.

I think that people who have not been immersed in death do not fully understand how precious life is. I suspect you may not have had this level of exposure.

We are all so very fragile. Taking a life is something that is so wrong as to NEVER HAPPEN. But people murder. This does not mean that society must reduce themselves to the level of scum. Lowering society to the level of a person who would take something as sacred as a human life is completely counter to what we as humans, HOPEFULLY strive for.

Broadcasting these things would only prove to a third party that we are complete barbarians. We are already lagging behind the rest rest of the Western world, overpopulated prisons filled to the brim with people who need not be there.

If one person out of two hundred people executed was completely innocent would you keep going? There is no advantage to capital punishment, so why continue to kill even ONE TIME, one innocent person.

Executions serve as a form of vengeance and revenge, nothing more.

Both corporatists who only occupy themselves at their 'jobs' by spending at least 50% of their daily agendas wheeling and dealing for reelection campaign funds.
