HTG won't answer my emails

Try calling them, 866-710-GROW is the number listed on my invoice. Did you not receive something you ordered?
 
not related but I love how skype makes all the numbers people type clickable, like i can click that number and it will actually call and everything, and ill be like yo fade to black wants the know where the fuck his children are bitches.
 
I'd call...I always got prompt attention when I called. I never emailed.

And I think they check emails on Monday morning only....Not sure where I got that....I think thats what I was told when I called.
 
i bought a 250w MH set-up. it worked for 1 week then died. i had to go to my hydro shop and spend a lot more money in order to replace it. i have seedlings started and can't go without a light. they went a few days under floros and it started to set them way back. so i drove around the corner and just bought one locally. i like it much better now. so i'm stuck with this broken one. it's all boxed up i just want to return it. i don't see why i should have to call him. he has an email it worked when i paid him.

I'm waiting for an order from HTG myself. Although I just placed it last night :). I was inspired after reading a thread called Hooray for HTG! I'd be interested to know when you get your order resolved.

I'm new here, this is actually my first post. Moving indoors for the first time and this place is a treasure for info and I hid my grower's bible so good I can't find it myself!
 
I wave ordered several lights from there other items and always got great service. Maybe he is just backed up. He may only want to exchange the light not refund money, idk. They are pretty fair, good luck keep us posted!
 
I had a light from them.. It took about 3 weeks but Im n the westcoast... I mean they sent me the tracking number they sent it thru dhl... I had to give them a few calls though also because I thought it was broke they were goin to take it back but I guess the outlets I was using went out...lol...

my new light works just fine. i have only had it 2 days so i can't say much yet. the other one made it a week. i went and bought a new bulb for the one from HTG and it worked for 1 night. it almost seems as if the ballast is burning up the bulbs.

Thats probably the case....They are discount ballast/light kits.
 
I usually buy from him through ebay. He has better deals sometimes and values his feedback so he will fix any problems right away. You dont want a bad reputation in this business.
 
So true about ebay. There have been times when it seemed like my whole lifestyle came from ebay and feeback is king.
 
as im sure some of you have heard i also had some issues with HTG. got a big order, finally after calling many times and emailing countless times. seems like they sit around and blaze all day instead of responding to people who want to give them money! kinda cheesy. then when i got my order i had a broken ballast. two weeks later i got the replacement after they gave me a snotty email saying UPS says i got it already. meanwhile it was at the depot and HTG never even emailed me saying to go get it or any tracking info. they need to hire some more help or something. the telephone order i placed took like 20 minutes for the guy to write down. freaking stoners lol! but yeah, there has to be a better way. im going to start looking into hydro and other suppliers and see if i can start up my own little online business. prompt 24/7 email replies and tracking info stat!!! and of course the lowest prices possible. all i need now is like 20 grand to start up this idea. maybe 10.
