...I've recently accepted the fact that I need to get better lighting... so I'm planning on getting this... Think this will help...??

I'm extremely low budget as i need more importantly, New breaks for car; New tires; New Microwave; New phone...

So this, being 75$, is cheap enough, to boost the 300 watts i currently have...

It will add major heat. You can't seperate the ballast so you will have ballast heat and bulb heat.

thats perfect, a 150 watt will easily do a plant. add your additional 300 watts. Yes you will add heat with hps. Just keep an eye on temps. As long as your between 75-85 your good

Yeah but if you are upgrading might as well upgrade properly and go with the 400 watt HPS and use the CFL for supplemental lighting.

If you made it this far on your cfl's take care of the important things like car, phone, ect. After you get that out of the way then save a little more and get a 400watt HPS.

The reason i was considering upgrading a little bit, was because I realize, they trully are insufficient.

I took one plant out, and tried to help with my reflection, but the tops are few weeks from done, and underneath growth is just not moving as fast...

Brother you can get a digital ballast and bulb for around $100 to $125 with a wing reflector. Thats only about $50 more so get the important things out of the way. Better then putting yourself in a bind.

I just got a 400w hps, along with about 400$ worth of extras, nutes, bulbs, etc... for 85 on craigslist.

Reason I dont trust CL, no warranty or anything.. Could work for a little, but after a week it blows, and your screwed....

Cant trust people around here..

Big Bull i'm running 2-600watt Apollos for a year now they work great.;-) Bought them from the same guy on the amazon listing.

They're not too hot?

One of the reviews says "within ten minutes heated closet up to 95 degrees"

Got some good reviews, but some bad as well..

If I buy it, is it wired... or do I have to do a bunch of wiring...?

Its already to use the ballast doesnt get hot at all. The bulb is whats giving off the heat. so just make sure you have good air flow or venting. I have had zero problems with either of my setups.

I am going to be ordering a 1000watt Apollo from the same guy here in the next week or 2. You will have much nicer and bigger buds with the 400watt.

Are you getting it from some place I am? or do you have a reliable online site?

I want to buy one that has more than a 30 day warranty... bc alot of the reviews say, it blew right after warranty.
