hey guys i recently just purchased a 150w HPS bulb now being that im a noob with lights, i tried putting in the same thing i used for the flood light i attempted but it didnt light up. What do i need to get the hps running and where can i get it. thanks guys

at an electric supply or a indoor garden supply

HPS bulbs need a special ballast to work. Go on Ebay and search "150W HPS" There's 9 listings right now, and a lot of Store stuff. The cheapest one offered right now is $69.something, but you get a bulb also, so you'll have a spare.

well it depends if he was able to screw it into a floodlight lamp socket it means its on a medium base they make hps and metal halide that will screw into a household base the wires and stuff have to be right tho theyre for like outdooer shed lights there like 35 to 175 watts tho we sell em at my work
