hps or mh??

okay this is my situation I have one plant right now that's a lil over 12" tall. under a 400 watt mh 3x3x6 tent. I want to start flowering but I have 3 new rooted clones I need to veg. my thought was to just pull the plant out after 12 hours and put it in a closet but that would be under mh. will it hurt my yield much? I could put the hps bulb in but would that be good for veg for the other clones? so i guess my question is would it be better to leave the mh in for the vegging plant or switch to the hps for the flowering one any help would be great

I run hps from beginning to end. If you've got a super hps (which is what I have) then its got more blue spectrum and you can run it start to finish.
